On Wednesday 28th January we enjoyed a truly uplifting and lively session full of music and lovely company.

We were delighted to welcome back the fantastic Tony M, who entertained us with his upbeat, toe-tapping music. His energy was infectious and had many of us smiling, singing along and dancing.

Alongside the fun we were also joined by Karin and Irene from Coventry Buliding Society, who delivered a very informative "Take Five" talk about scams. They explained how to spot the warning signs and shared practical advice on how to stay safe.

We were treated to some delicious cupcakes kindly provided by Fung Yee.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, to our wonderful volunteers for their continued support and to all our guests who helped make the day such a success.

We are looking forward to our next get-together in February.

Highworth Forget-Me-Not began in 2019 as part of a community campaign to make Highworth a Dementia Friendly town. What started as a celebration event quickly grew into a regular Memory Café — and from there, a whole range of friendly, inclusive activities.

Today we offer Memory Cafés, Friendship Fridays, Dementia-Friendly Sing-alongs, Love to Move seated exercises, all designed to reduce isolation and bring people together. Thanks to amazing local support and  funding, we continue to grow and reach even more people.

Whether you join us, volunteer, donate or simply support from afar, you’re part of our community.
