Bringing smiles to the room with dementia and friendship support

at the heart of the community

We were delighted to see so many families stop by to take part in our Magical Scavenger Hunt and Wand-making fundraising. The creativity from the children was a joy to watch, and we hope each one of them left with a sprinkle of magic to take home.

A very special thak you goes to Zara, whose hard work behind the scenes made the day such a success. From thoughtful planning to hands-on help throughout, she was incredible, and her self-made costume was nothing short of spectacular.

We'd also like to extend our thanks to Julie Murphy the Mayor of Highworth and Highworth Town Council for organising a raffle in support of Highworth Forget-Me-Not. Their continued support means so much to our charity and the community we serve.

All in all, it was a wonderfully busy and uplifting day, full of smiles, imagination and community spirit.

Thank you to everyone who came along and supported us -we couldn't do it without you.

Highworth Forget-Me-Not began in 2019 as part of a community campaign to make Highworth a Dementia Friendly town. What started as a celebration event quickly grew into a regular Memory Café — and from there, a whole range of friendly, inclusive activities.

Today we offer Memory Cafés, Friendship Fridays, Dementia-Friendly Sing-alongs, Love to Move seated exercises, all designed to reduce isolation and bring people together. Thanks to amazing local support and  funding, we continue to grow and reach even more people.

Whether you join us, volunteer, donate or simply support from afar, you’re part of our community.
